The giants of social networking i.e. Facebook has announced the purchase of WhatsApp. WhatsApp is a social networking app available for use on all smart phones. According to Business insider, Facebook purchased WhatsApp for 19 billion dollars. This news appears to be the biggest happening to the world of social media and smart phones users as both plays a diverse role in developing world wide communication.  Soon after to this news, Facebook also announced that WhatsApp will continue to operate independently as before without ads and paid subscription.

Facebook has a sound control over the social media activities happens to the world of personal computing whereas WhatsApp also do the same in the mobile environment. At this moment, the number of users of the social network soar over 400 million to be based on the facts for social relationships through internet. With the purchase of WhatsApp, Facebook has now command to control two major markets: first it is still the king of social network, and the second one is with the stroke of business operators in the mobile communications.

WhatsApp was timely arrived in mobile massaging in same manner as the Facebook did in the field of social network. Prior to this, arrival of both were more or less similar, but none other nearly reached to the popularity of these. There is a single fact that represents the success of both companies in their evolution.
While Facebook managed to reach users through a product that has received literally hundreds of changes over time, WhatsApp has not changed, its essence has been the same from the beginning and that has been one of the success factors which has catapulted that WhatsApp was on the right track since the launch.
No one can deny the fact that smart phones are the present and future of worldwide communication.
